Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd then went on to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. She went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. The InvictaFC11 fight was her very first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound hit her for a TKO win in the second round. She maintained her dominance and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Following a brief break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by majority decision.
