Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I am married to a beautiful man named JP and a hapless father Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I share my life- the highs the lows and everything in between. My parents brought me to America around 1990, and I was a mere one and a half years older. I wouldn't be sharing my life story today in the event that my parents did not work long and made sacrifices. To give them a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on success and worked hard to attain it. I was set with a goal in my life that was to go to college graduate land a corporate job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. I believed that this was the epitome of success life had other plans to show me what it means to be successful. The amount of money I earned and the status of my position was not what I wanted to be. I believed that I wasted my entire life to earn the opportunity to earn a salary. 2013 was the year I discovered that my true passion was working out. Also, I loved being social and giving an extra helping hand to people. This led me down an entirely new direction and into the world of personal training. In 2014, I founded my own business. My company is celebrating its seventh anniversary in 2021. As an Asian female in this business, there are very few of us. As a coach, my goal is to motivate others and empower them to live happily and in good health by establishing sustainable and healthy lifestyles that cater to each individual's wants and needs. Also, I strive to inspire people to pursue their ambitions and to achieve whatever they would like to do in their life. My career began taking off at the time I had the best success of my life. However, my mother passed away just when my career took off. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and is now in Heaven and is with me in my mind and heart at all times. The lessons we learn from life are often hidden from us, but they can be highly valuable. The passing of my mom transformed me in so many ways and I'm convinced she provided me another chance to live my life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was her time to start the next chapter of her life. It was also a chance for me to get my second chance at living the most happy, joyful and fulfilled life. Now in my 30s I'm feeling a sense of living and feeling alive. It's not like that I'm just a mere existence anymore. When I share my experience I hope that my experience will be a source of inspiration for your own. It is my wish that my words can help people realize that they aren't all on your own. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. I pray that you live the best life possible and end it without regrets because death is the sole thing that we are promised during our lifetime.
